| Brittany Ferries - Ferry crossing information for
Brittany Ferries |
Brittany ferries offer a wide selection of routes across the
channel to take you close to where you want to go.
Brittany Ferries say that the ports they choose to travel to are always more
than just ports. Each of their destinations on the continent possesses its own
character and is normally full of life with great places to shop, drink and
eat.
The UK ports offer more than just port services as they aim to offer a
selection of amenities aimed at making your journey as pleasant as possible.
Brittany offer a service which is centred on their luxury cruise ferries, which
enable your holiday to start the minute you drive on board the ship. The
entertainment is varied and the food is French cuisine, which has a great
reputation of course. You can also shop in the many boutiques, or relax in your
accommodation, which they have tried to make as comfortable and luxurious as
they can.
On longer trips such as from England to Spain the cabin that you get can make a
massive difference. Getting a cabin allows you privacy during the day along
with a place to keep your belongings safe and by night can give you a
comfortable place to sleep. Although you could try and sleep in the communal
lounges, it is not comfortable and also you could be awoken at any time by
other noisy passengers. Another advantage of getting a cabin is that most of
them on Brittany Ferries have en-suite toilet facilities, which saves you from
having to share toilets with others, surely a good thing.
The Commodore class cabins are spacious and luxurious. You can get
complimentary cabin service in Commodore class cabins which includes
continental breakfast, along with morning coffee or afternoon tea.
The next level of cabin are the De Luxe cabins, which are only available on
certain routes and are much larger than the standard cabins and in which you
get a continental breakfast as well as morning coffee or afternoon tea.
Club Four cabins are larger than the four berth cabins and are available only
on the Pont Aven ship. Each of these cabins come with tea and coffee making
facilities as well as a mini bar.
Four Berth Cabins are available in all of the routes and offer varying
qualities of facilities and you can also request a porthole. All of these
cabins are air conditioned. Two berth cabins are available on all of the cruise
ferries apart from the Barfleur. These are all air conditioned and come with a
porthole along with a choice of facilities. |
